Hey, one of my RPO codes is Z28. I assume that is the RPO code that means it's a z28 in my 85 camaro? I just want to know for sure on mine cause I just bought it. I'm certain it is though, cause it handles tons better than my old RS did. I only had the RS for a few months.

Yep, you got it. If you see Z28 on the options sticker in your glovebox, you're golden.

On another note, how about guys or used car lots that rip that decal out and advertise a 305 TPI car as a "5.7 Tuned Port Injection"? I caught a used car dealer down the street from me on that one time a few years back. What they did was tear out the SPID decal in the glovebox and put '5.7 Tuned Port Injection' emblems off a 350 IROC-Z onto the back bumper. I took it for a drive and knew right away it had a 305, but decided to have some fun with the guy running the lot. In front of the other salesmen he swore up and down it was a 350. I pointed out the wrong digit on the VIN for a 350 (should be '8' in the 8th position if I recall right for the 5.7), the fact it had the wrong shift **** for the 350, and the tach was the wrong tach for a 350. I told him it was bull$hit and basically constituted false advertising. To their credit, I went by the next day and they listed it properly as a '305' IROC on the windshield.

I bet more than one unsuspecting guy has bought a 305 IROC thinking it was a 350.

Hahaha, what a bunch of turds. I love it when people get caught in the act.

I think someone should email him or her this thread. I would like someone to do that same for me.

I'm gonna email the seller this thread. See what he says for himself. I hope we are all wrong for the bidders sake, cause it just aint cool to get ripped off.

OMG! Look at the tail lights!! They look just like my 85's. I coulda swore the 90's tail lights had less black lines through them.

No, not the headlights, the tail lights. Look at all the black lines through them making it look like a bunch of blocks. My 89 RS just had three verticle lines that seperated the red, orange, and white lights. You pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?
