Why would this be a rice thread?

What happen was the Speed traps were messing up on one side.

If you are talking about my car going 14s last year & now 15s this year its because of the car NOT running right. I have time slips to prove it as well.

You ran 15.1, very respectible, by how you titled the thread it seems as if you didnt know that your car could run 15.1, but then you say
I do normally run high 14s Last year this time I did run a 14.66 @ 93mph
so that in fact, shouldn't you be disapointed?

I cant believe the amount of hate we give our fellow f body owners. She was merely pointing out that her trap speed was WAY OFF! almost 370mph on one side and 18.8 mph on the other. So whats with all the hate? . Lets make this a more friendly forum to be on! Leave your haterade at home!

Tammy, (right?) and everyone else. The HSR was the WORST mod I ever did to my "relatively" stock motor. They flow unbelievable but without the heads and cam to match its like you never even put it on there. The main problem everyone is having is tuning the car to run up in the 6000-6500 rpm range, where the HSR is specifically designed to do the most damage Our cars topped out around 4800 for power delivery and would slowly drop off until 5500rpm were they shift and hit the next gear. Now, for those of you who don't tune your own car, you wont understand that its not just as easy as saying, "Ok computer give the car this much fuel at this RPM." Because its not, you have to calculate and "lie" to the computer to make it give you the correct values. Moreover, you cannot see the effects of your changes without a wide band oxygen sensor, and they're pretty hard to come by, or at least a unit thats plug and play for our cars.

I do believe that you'll be right back at mid 14's with headers installed and a correct tune. I don't remember though, if you have a different convertor in your car. If not, I would recommend one. You'll be MUCH happier when you can cut 1.85 60' times on street tires. Sure helps out your ET

But this is not to say that I have tossed in the towel on the Stealth Ram, oh no. I now have a set of AFR 195's and a custom Grind cam sitting under it. The car should be on the road within the next 2 weeks I hope. Correctly tuned, I calculate, and have been told, that mid to high 12's will be under my right foot any time I want.

I am holding out until I can get a full time job to have my heads ported a little& to get a hot cam

No We havent done much to the car. Right now I am waiting to hear from the shop its in. Its almost done getting the headers & such in.
Then of course having to get the tuning done.

Last thursday driving her in she was sounding like she wasnt getting enough fuel or she was missing. So lets see what happends when I go pick her up.

Have fun with the headers

The problem you are undoubtedly having is that its trying to get more fuel but its outside the perameters its been setup to follow.
