Does anybody know the hp for a 305ci and or the 0-60?

keep in mind..the higher the horsepower the more likely you will have to swap the rearend, tranny..your also going to end up replacing other parts as well to accomodate the new engine..but hey if you got the money no problem

It depends. If youre running slicks, expect a lot less life from the trans. The #1 killer of transmissions is heat, if you can keep it cool and run street tires, a stock 700R4 can maybe hold 400+ hp, assuming its in good shape and has been maintained. Dont expect to help your ET by switching transmissions, usually they are replaced for strength reasons. A higher stall converter will help ETs however.
