How would you get up there? If someone drove you up, both would drive home, no?. Then if something happened, not like you'd be stranded.

Man I`d buy that car in a flash if I had $3500. I`ve noticed that camaros have no value in the U.S, 3500 up here wouldn`t get you that great of a 3rd gen 350 TPI irocs are goin for 7500-10000 good luck findin a 4th gen under 9000 up here.

I paid 1200 for mine and it smoked like hell if you ran it up and down the road you`d leave a blue trail behind and 40% of the floor was gone and the drivers side frame rail was rotted and the tires were shot 2 months of VERY hard work and it`s teh best car I`ve owned she`s my baby. I just bought a 81 for $2200 and it needs alot of work but hey what better car to work on then a camaro.

My point is it`s cheap buy it if your dad lets you.

That's a nice looking 3rd gen. If I could just sell my 2002 Z28 (anybody need a 4th gen Z?), I'd come get it. That is about what I'm looking for.

I had mine advertised for $22,500 (Koni DA's and all). But my payoff is a little higher than that.....So, essentially, too much.

This is exactly what I mean about F-bodys having no value in the U.S This T/A up here man $10000 or so. Theres a 87 GTA 350 TPI WS6 suspention stock for $7000 and the front seats are shot and the paint could be better it`s good but not great. But if I had the cash it would be in my driveway beside my 81 Z28. If I sold my Z28 (which I`ll never do!!!) you`d have to offer $5000 just to get me thinkin about selling

No value in the U.S.?! That'd be great for people like me shopping for one but it just isn't true. I don't know where you guys are but in the NE you can't touch a mint L98 IROC-Z or Z28 with lower/moderate mileage for at least $6-$7,000 or more. And it keeps getting higher. The ones that have less than 40,000 miles have asking prices of like $12,000 on them! And I know people who have sold and bought them for that. For the prices you guys are talking about in this post you might get a high mileage car that needs some work and it wouldn't be a 350 TPI car and probably not be loaded or have T-Tops. Only a few years ago prices for them weren't this high.

i don't know what the heck you are talking about. an 88 z28 went for 2450 with 45000 miles. it was stock, pretty much mint

I wish I could find them for that. I will find some examples to show you. Sure that wasn't a 5.0 RS? The Z28's last year was 87 until 91. I can't believe that someone would complain about the price of that car in the condition that it seems to be in.

it was an 87 z28 then...and it was an lb9. great condition though.

i'm not complaining about the price...its not in as good condition as it looks. and there is no lemon law in maine. so if i was to buy that car and it sucked, i'm ****ed. i'm just gonna look closer to home
