Post Egnition switch

My ignition switch has gone bad and I know becuase it wont turn all the way. That and about 3 or 4 of my machanic friends told me (they are all past 35). That and I just know..lol. What I wanna know is how do I get in there to replace it or is there a book I can get with the steps as to how to ?

Well no one can really tell you where it is or how to change it if you dont list what car you have

But a Hayes Manual should tell you how to do this and is at most local auto parts stores.

Well I dunno about it belonging here or not but, hey I'm new here so give me a break.

Anyways it's a 84 camaro v6. Yes I do have a haynes manual look all the way through it and My friends dad who has built just abouteverything from the 40's to now didn't find anything that he "didn't" already know. So it wasn't much help. Hope this helps.
