EGR ?'s and Power adders
ok i have 3 questions,
1.) my friend was talking about he removed the EGR on his car (something to do with exhaust recycling ?) now can someone explain to me if im understanding it right that this is what is happening. He did this on his race prepped 02 SS( which is a "little"different from my car.). I personally have a 92 rs with the LO3 engine. Is this even on my car. If it is, what would i do to stop this from happening, along with other misc. things i could do (free mods) to correct some of GM's mistakes??
2) The next question is i plan to use some sort of power adder in the future... blower, twin turbo (it can be done !!) or something of the sorts, no nitrous though. I still need to do more research on the whole subject, im young and still learning. But i guess im asking what sort of parts besides a forged crankshaft and pistons would i need to drop in to accomidate the extra stress put on an engine caused by power adders?
3) can forged pistons that i put into the 305 and the possible transfer them into a 350? or is the bore to big in the 350?
thanks guys

It probably is on your car. Leave it alone unless you want the SES light on. You could take off the air pump and all the hoses to the AIR tubes on the manifold. you could take off the Evap canister.
Forged Rods, Pistons and Crankshaft. Good heads and cam, Roller Rockers. Good intake.
I don't think you can transfer pistons like that.

EGR removal
Outlaw,
a propperly functioning egr system is designed to only work at part throttle cruise when the high tempetures in the combustion chamber can lead to hi NOx emissions. it deos not however work at wot or idle. so taking it off is not really going to give you any more power, and you would not pass emission if you have it in your area.
