Ok, A couple of months ago I swapped the 2.8/T5 for a 5.0/T5 in my 88 Camaro, I used shorty style headers that I pulled from a second gen (they fit perfecct) and fabed up a Y pipe to hook up to the stock cat and parts store replacement single inlet duel outlet V6 exhaust. Needless to say the car was extreemlly quite, that was untill the muffler rotted and fell off where it meets the intermediate pipe, now it's quite loud but a little louder than I'd like. I've done some looking and the dynomax super turbo cat back seems to be the most reasonably priced cat back (P/N WLK 17493 at summit and jegs) and it's speced for the 2.8/3.1/5.0 so it should bolt up to my existing cat, correct? I was wondering If anyone out there has tried this cat back and had any feed back on fit finsh and most importantly sound, I am also open to suggestions, but also am on a pretty limited budget.
