Filling my irocs bay with an LT1

Hey Everyone.

Has anyone on here swapped a 93 LT1 into a 3rd gen?

I have read all the differences on the 93 LT1 to the later ones. from what i know they are:

93 Has TV cable place on TB (i can use my 700-R4)
93 Has only a rear Fuel rail cross over, and different location for FP valve, and FPR.
Uses Speed Density system rather then MAF
Shorter Dowel pin cam
Uses "Optispark 1" distributor
Timing Cover is different due to different opti
Uses Batch fire rather then sequential port.
PCM Requires chip burning rather then flash memory on newer PCM's

Now i have a question:
Is there any way to have a 93 engine run as a sequential port? Or do i need the 94 computer, wiring, and MAF?

Thanks for the help.

Sheldon

if your stickin wit the 4l60/700rh go wit a 93 ecu. 94 was a 4l60e you might run into problems wit that pcm. sequential injections not gunna fly by go wit the lt1 system. im pretty sure 93 was speed density though. just got n 88 z n thinkin of dropin my 97 powertrain in tell me how it goes

the only benefit to sequential fuel injection is emissions, you wont notice a horsepower gain from batch-fire to sequential fire

Keep the batch injection, no need to go sequential, since the engines newer i believe if you keep all the newer emissions (air pump egr and cat) you should be able to pass in most states. I would recommend swapping out the cam, front timing cover and opti to the vented style though.
