You'll need a signal convertor for the speedo, get it from Cyberdyne.
The reverse lockout solenoid is the one just to the right of the shifter. Run one side to ground and the other to your brakelight switch...that way you can only go into reverse when the brakes are on. Or you could just run it through a pushbotton mounted on the dash or console.
The backup light switch is the one on the pass. side of the tranny, halfway from front to back.....you'll need to locate the backup light wire on the auto. shifter harness and run it to one side of the switch and ignition power to the other side.
The skip-shift solenoid is the one on the driver's side at the top. Leave it disconnected and it will be fine.
Your driveshaft will fit.
If you haven't already gotten a crossmember go to www.skulte.com or www.spohn.net and order a conversion crossmember.
You'll have to cut a hole in the floorpan. Measure from the bellhousing-block mating surface to the shifter on the tranny and then do the same on the bottom of the car. Drill 4 holes where the corners need to be and then cut from the top with a Sawzall.
Your car SHOULD already have holes in the firewall for the clutch hydros. My '91 RS did.
DO NOT put gear oil in this tranny. The synchro's are specifically designed to be used with Dexron II Mercon auto. tranny fluid. I recommend Mobil 1 synthetic. I think you need about 6 quarts but I'm not sure.
Edit: typos

You don't have to have backup lights to be street legal, but they're nice when it's dark and you have to back up.
If you don't hook up the reverse lockout you won't be able to back up. The solenoid allows you to shift into reverse when it's turned on. It's possible to go inside the solenoid and modify the mechanism so that it acts as a bias pressure instead of a lockout, but I don't recommend it. If you mess up the modification you could miss 5th and go into reverse at 65mph and blow your tranny.

Mine went right in without a hitch. I just unbolted the bracket for the brake pedal and bolted in the bracket for the brake/clutch pedals. There was nothing to it.
You may need a persuasion tool. It's a 5lb rubber hammer that's very handy for "persuading" parts to go where they don't want to go. Everybody should have one.
