flowmaster or hooker?
Which would be the better muffler, flowmaster 80 or hooker aerochamber? What are your opinions guys. I hear that hooker is too quiet, but flows better, is this true??
thanks

I had an Aerochamber on my car w/ the stock LB9, sounded good. I had a flowmaster before that - was annoying on the freeway. Just my $0.02 - your best bet is to try and hear/ride in a car w/ each muffler and similar mods.

Just put a Flowmaster on my 91Z. Sounds great. I also have duel Flowmasters on my 98 Silverado. I get plenty of compliments on how it sounds.

well I have the 3" piping and tips. All I need is just the muffler, so I don't need the whole cat-back..My brother's friend has a 91 RS with the 305 and a flowmaster 80 and I really liked the sound of that, but I have yet to hear one with a hooker aero on it. I would like something different, leading me to hooker, but I love the sound of flowmaster.......AHHHHH I can't decide!!!

If you want it to stand out, get a 40 series 2 chamber flowmaster. If you want it to ound like evreyone elses truck and or thirdgen, get the 80 series flowmaster with dual outlets(i think it sucks)..if you want to be original, get the Hooker.

Well, how would I get a flowmaster 40 under there and still get dual tips coming out the back? Also, all I can find in the 40 is the delta flow, and I hear that its quieter...any help??
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Speaking of the delta flow a guy I talked too at Flowmaster said that they were actually phasing out the regular series so everything will be a delta flow eventually. Has anyone else heard this? Must be some pretty damn good technology to adapt it to every line of flowmasters
