Question ?? FRONT STRUTS ??? KYB GR2

Hey guys,
I am in need of some new front struts and possibly springs. I don't want to lower the car, I go through too many pot holes anyway. I started looking and I found Gabrial and Monroes are just slightly cheaper than KYB GR2'S. After that, the prices jump big time for billstein and koni's. Has anyone used the KYB GR2's? I want more performance, but I don't want to lower the car. Any sudgestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go with the kyb's if your on a budget. The monroe's or gabrial's will only be good the first week then that's it.The billstein's are great but they seem out of your budget,s save some money for other mods and get the kyb' great performing struts for the money. If your springs are bad to unlikly but I don't know? The struts might be all you need if not go to yur local Gm dealer and pick up some 1le springs they have a higher spring rate and won't lower your car. Also since your doing the front do the rear as a safty measure.Your car is going to be a new animal.

So the 1LE springs have a higher spring rate over the stock Z28 springs?

Red face

4 Koni Yellows arived at my shop today Can't even wait to see how they work on my car!!! I'm also gonna put Jamex 1.25" drop springs in the front. Stock springs for the rear for now because i think it sits just right out back. I'll post some results soon, Goodluck with a solution to what you want.
