Front sway bar?
#2
I just have the Spohn Sway bars @ www.spohn.net
The front WILL not work with the stock Wonderbar i found out and the rear bar doesn't fit good with a T/A Cover on the rear axle. The sway bars and poly endlinks feel awesome on the car so far. Spohn also sells their own Wonderbar, i'd assume it fits with their sway bar but I didn't check on it yet. Goodluck

A Wonderbar is a small brace bolted just above the sway bar. It ties the front of the car together somewhat
I always hear good things about all of BMR's products. If you check the Autocross forum, you'll see that a lot of the serious racers are using between a 34-36mm front sway bar and a 19 or 21mm rear. Your 89 IROC is probably like mine and has 36/24mm sway bars but the stock 36mm is hollow and not chrome moly. BMR and Spohn make theirs out of SOLID chrome moly so they're stiffer overall. I am still trying to figure out if the spohn setup is working for me and if the car is balanced well since most people claim a 24mm rear bar is too large.I have a wierd tire setup so I think I'll be ok but I'm holding onto my stock rear sway bar for furthur testing Goodluck! I'd suggest a new polyurethane front and rear endlink kit also.
If I'm confusing you, sorry but IROC cars have an almost perfect sway bar setup from the factory. A stiffer front bar is reccomended and that's usually it.
