Yeah, I was thinking in terms of an EFI set-up. There are so many people who put inline pumps on cars with an intank pump as well. It can only pump so much fuel, regardless of how many or how big a pump is inline after the intank one.

That pump looks small. My Bosch intank is like 3" in diameter.

It does look small compared to others I've seen.
This is a Holley Universal unit, 230lph @ 45psi.
It seemed to do the job with the TPI, and should be fine with the LT1 but I am not to sure about the 150-200 shot I'll be running.
I may end up adding a second pump as the primary and setting the Holley as a booster straight to the 2 fuel solenoids. Not sure if that is a good idea, but it sounds like a good one.

An in-line pump will act as a restriction to an in-tank pump when it is off.

An in-line pump will do very little to increase the fuel volume if the in-tank pump is of a lesser type / factory.

Your best bet is to buy our proper in-tank Walbro 255L/Hr high pressure pump (RX-GSS340LT1). If you are planning on making 450RWHP+ then the complete system should be considered (RX-FLT1-GSS340LT1-FPKG-2).

PS. Walbro and Airtex (T-Rex) supply pumps to Holley, MSD, FAST, Accel, Grantelli, Paxton etc... The in-line Walbro GSL392 is a higher output pump than the T-Rex.
