Hedman Shorty Headers - Do they drop right in?

Has anyone ever installed the cheapy $100 Hedman shorty 1-5/8" non-emissions headers on a 350 TPI Camaro with serpentine brackets? I have a set sitting here that I pulled off the 84 Z, the 84 was a driver side dipstick carb motor with V belt brackets so I had to have the engine hanging halfway over the engine bay or the header's wouldnt go in - but the TPI is serpentine with passenger side dipstick (like the headers were intended to be used on) so was wondering if anyone knows wether they just drop right in? I hear good things about Edelbrock TES headers but I already have these so I'd like to use them. Do I need to remove the serpentine brackets? Or jack up one side of the engine? or anything like that?

Lemme know asap I'd like to get these headers in before weekend.

I've never done them on that particular vehicle. But every vehicle I have ever done was a nightmare(even the 66 GTO), no such word as drop in, more like hammer-bash-crunchfinger-curse-push-swear-beat in.

Yeah headers are a bitch, Ive been putting off installation of headers for about 6 months now but hey it's only costing me the price of gaskets so I figure what the hell right.

I have heard people say they were, but I doubt it. I bought the more generic Summit brand headers with the same size primaries and collectors. I still had to get a Y-pipe cut for me before it was all over.

I installed a pair of the Hedman longtubes on my car and it took all of 15 minutes to put them on and tighten them down.
It actually took longer to set the car on jackstands than it took to put the headers on.
some pics of the headers,

I put that same set of Hedman shorties in last week (except mine are coated) and it took about 3 hours, working alone (with friends sitting around supervising) and drinking beer. I did have to jack the driver's side of the motor up about 1.5", but other than that they were cake to install.
