Helppp
Hey guys...I have come to the conclusion that the fuel pump is gone...started it up this morning and started walking back to grab something I forgot and the car just died. I turned the key off, then back on and it just cranked. Then I turned it off again and there is no priming sound. I checked the fuses and they were fine. I unplugged the relay and plugged it back in to maybe reset it, everything looked ok, but still wouldn't start and no priming sound. I diagnosed the SES light and sure enough...code 54 low voltage at fuel pump. Now here I am in the middle of taking out the fuel pump...not fun. I got the exhaust moved out of the way, the panhard bar off, but I cannot get the right size for the 3 bolts holding the brace that holds the bar in place that go up to the underbody. I also cannot figure out how I am going to be able to get the fuel tank straps off. I need a helping hand here...any info/tips would be great!!
P.S. I NEED TO BUY ME SOME AIR TOOLS...

Re: Helppp
Yes, you can do the trap door mod, and it makes changing the pump much easier. I'm not sure of the exact place to cut, but itshould be pretty much centered in the area above the gas tank.
