Post Hotchkis SFCs

I'm going to be getting some SFC's, probably Hotchkis. Anybody have any feedback on Hotchkis, positive or negative? Does it clear the stock exhaust? I saw something on thirdgen.org that you can't change the exhaust system from the manifolds to the cat unless you cut the pipe out and have a new one welded in? The reason I ask is that I may want to get headers later this year. Will I be able to install headers (and the aftermarket Y-pipe) to the cat converter without taking it to a shop to have the pipe welded in?

I have Hotchkis SFCs. The fit and finish is excellent. I have headers, a 3" Catco converter and American Thunder 3" cat back exhaust. Everything seems to fit just fine.
