how to stud tires

was wondering what the gun is called that studs tires, was looking for one on ebay but didnt turn up much.

If you mean snow tires, it's called a pair of pliers and snap ring pliers. At least that's what I always used until they Outlawed them here. Now it's Blizzaks, 215/60/16's.......Excellent tires!!

I was too poor for those when I had my 88 Camaro, so I used two sandbags in the back with some REALLY skinny tires all around. (Probably 215s )

Sorry bro, I guess I'm used to seeing my 275s all the time

All I know is they were skinny, and they were on stock Camaro rims (15x6?) So maybe they were more like 185s (if they even make those )

ive seen 165s on a tercel im sure an old style geo metro had somthing skinny they had 12" tires

oh and how do you use snap ring pliers to stud tires aand where do you get the studs?
