I can't keep coolant in the xpantank
My radiator had a crack on the driver side near the top in the plastic, i pulled it out and used some JB weld, sealed it up, used an air compressor to check for any other leaks, filled it with water, no leaks, put it back in.
now when i open my radiator cap the radiator is like 95% full, the coolant sits JUST below the engine return hole on the pass side. however i can't keep anything in the expansion tank, but running the car with the rad cap off, it's still cycling coolant.
my only guess is it's still leaking on the driver side, but the leak is somewhere up top, so it isn't emptying the radiator....just a major PITA....how much should an f body junkyard charge me for a used radiator? what years will work with my 87 iroc?
