87' Not sure if anything changed from 87' to 89' (9th cold start injector etc etc) If you want it let me know.

I don't know about the MR intake, but I know the LT1 intake isn't a hinder at 6000 rpm, heck, I know people w/ stock LT1 intakes, unported revving well past 6k. Porting them only makes them better. But porting an LT1 intake is not just make the holes bigger, mainly you want to take the roof off of the intake ports. I am sure you'll lose low end torque switching to the LT1, but gain big on the top end. That's my .02 considering the limited knowledge of the MR intake. Although I understand how you feel abot the L98 intake. My L98 died after 4500 rpm, it was disheartening. Heh. But it did have a TON of low end tq.
