injector help,85 z28
hi, I know this probably was covered somewhere but I tried to find some answers on this with no avail, my question is this (confused), batch fired injectors on my 1985 z28 305 tpi with a/c and an automatic trans,it seams that there are a lot of different opinions on this, some say they fire in pairs, some say they all fire at the same time per bank, some say they all fire at once, I would love to get the right answer since I have one injector that does not fire, got good compression, good fuel pressure, new injector ( put two in same problem) I want to check the wiring out but the diagram shows one power loop and only one trigger per side, do all the trigger wires combine into one, any help here would be greatly appreciated, thanks for reading

Re: injector help,85 z28
Fuse INJ #1 supplies 12V to 4 injectors, fuse INJ #2 the other 4. Each batch of 4 fires simultaneously.
The wiring diagram in my Chiltons doesn't show which four are on each fuse. Pull fuse INJ #1. Key on, check the black wire (the one WITHOUT a color stripe) at each injector for 12V. Those without 12V will be supplied from the pulled fuse INJ #1.
The plugs are batch fired by a ground from the ECM, supplied simultaneously by the single wire. There is no capability for the system to multiplex firing of individual injectors or pairs of injectors over a single conductor.
Verify 12V at all injectors with the key on. Connector off the injectors, verify resistance across each injector in the range of 11-16 ohms. With the engine running, use a 'noid light on each connector to verify the ECM is supplying a ground to fire the injector.
Checking the 93 batch fire TPI, for which I have the factory manual, bank 1 (1/3/5/7) is on one circuit and bank 2 (2/4/6/8) is on the other circuit.
