Iroc?
my camaro doesnt have any markins whatso ever..so i got on a site for my vin check and it came out an iroc/z28.......is it an iroc or a z? it says tbi 305 so it shouldnt be an iroc......help please?

Z28: 82-87 and 91-92
IROC-Z28: 85-90
The 305 TBI was the base IROC engine but wasn't all that common as most were 305 TPI's. If it's an IROC for real and an 85-87 it'll have RPO B4Z, if it's and 88-90 it'll have RPO Z28.

advantages?
also i dont know what advantages i have over the other modle 88's....what would they be? also any detail,advice, and ANYTHING u guys think i should know would be greatly apreciated.....

Advice: Look under the lid of your center console and copy down the 3-digit RPO codes. Then go to www.thirdgen.org and run every RPO on the list through their RPO decoder. That'll tell you EXACTLY what you have.
Then get subframe connectors.
