Thumbs down Just Broke my Fuel Line to the Filter....

Yup, f-cking a I have not sweared this much since, well I never have swore this much. I went to change my fuel filter. Simple task, have done it before, when all of a sudden, TWWIIIIST and the line starts leaking....oh ****. I put the gas cap back on just now and I am gonna see if that keeps it from leaking. Any other ideas and how much do u think its gonna cost to fix it? Thanks

Thumbs up

Get you a piece of rubber hose and two hose clamps.....cut the twisty part out and replace with the above setup. Worked for me

Yep, its not the 100% correct way to do it, but thats what Id do if I needed the car running until I could figure out new lines. If you have a little money you could get together some braided lines and make it look all purdy.

I swore loudly when I broke my transmission crossmember bolt off, Im not quite sure how to fix that one.
