Stay away from crossfire injection...it's a bit touchy. My '83 had the habit of stalling out when taking a hard right.

Just curious..why are you looking so old? I know it only has 79K on it, but the newer ones aren't that expensive now and have many more options.

Yeah...CFI is worthless. It hasn't been dubbed "Cease Fire Injection" for nothing...heh.

I'd go newer, regardless of the low mileage. Not only that, but you also get updated body panels/gfx, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the front bumper with the three slots in it. I think the pre-'85 cars aren't very aesthetically pleasing, IMO.

Thanx guys i was just looking cuz i've always wanted one, but right now it doesnt matter because my main car just took a big crap on me and i was just looking around. I still like the pre 85's but if i could find one and afford it i would rather go with a 92 IROC Z-28. with the t-tops.

Well when you open the hood if its got 2 throttle bodys its cross-fire. Not to mention it will most likely say Cross-Fire somewhere on it. And the system wasnt realy that bad it just wasnt fully developed, when Gm got ahold of TPI it totally droped CFI.

It will have one of the biggest air cleaner assemblies you've ever seen with a big hole right in the center.
