little help with motor mount

well i put them in today and ended up slippin the bolt up from the inside and putting the nut on the top...worked out pretty good....that is a poor GM deisgn there I tell ya...rediculous, there better not be a clearance issue otheriwse i'll be pissed...

will do...ran into a problem with my distributor tho...it won't fit with the new HSR manifold!! i'm pissed..anybody know if i can put the engine in then put the distributor in later?

People remove and install distributors all the time without having to take the motor out. I don't see why not. But it might be a pain in the *** once the HSR is bolted on. Looks like it sticks up and goes right up against it

well i'm putting in the dist. with the upper plenum off the intake...a talked to a few people and they say it will be no problem..i hope they are right cuz i just got done putting the motor in....and also, as far as my bolt head in the k member and nut on top idea for the motor mounts, it worked! no interferance at all, worked great, and it allowed us to just use a box end wrench on the inside of the kmember and we used a rachet and socket on the outside....still cramped quarters tho...
