Do you have to put the computer in the stock location with the Howell or are the wires long enough to put somewhere else?

We had the Speartech harness and installed it on my friends 82 T/A. Speartech was great to work with. They built the harness with what we needed and also made the wiring long enough to where we wanted to mount the PCM. They asked us where we planned to mount the PCM, gave then an estimated length and they made it.

You can buy a complete harness from them for $600 or $700 depending on if you run MAP or MAF.

My ECM is in the stock 3rd Gen location. They made the harness long enough to do that, because I asked.

People complain about $595 for a great Howell harness, yet Speartech goes between $600-$700? That is way expensive, and I doubt it's better than a Howell piece.
