The term: REMANUFACTURED means making a working part out of one using pieces from salvaged non-working part. I would not be cheap with brake parts. My opinion.

It means that they take the pitted bore, hone it, and use oversized seals. It's not really any less desirable than original, and at $175 vs. $25, I'm willing to change it every few years if it's necessary.

the same part over and over again. Remanufactured Parts are almost or the same as used parts.
