Movies IROCs have been in?

That John Candy movie where he borrowed the white roadster and ran up on the *** of a nice grey Iroc is one of the best I can think of, also the Blue Iroc in Black dog was cool to see as well.
Just a throw out question but has anybody noticed a red with gold ground effects third gen in the back ground of lot's of tv shows? I can think of a few different sienfeld episodes that it was on the street, and while I can't remember what other shows it was in I know I have seen the exact same car quite a few times afterwards.
It always made me wonder if the studio had a mint z28 with like 200 miles on it just for prop use.

I dont believe nobody has said "Simon&Simon" Aj Simon had that red 85 Iroc 350 with Centerline wheels that was always burnin rubber and tearin up the LA streets. That was when I first fell in love with em, and the sole reason for purchasing my 86 Z.
"Next of Kin" Patrick Swayze had a gray RS, the one's that came with "camaro" on the GFX kit, but they had 305's
Brownyellow is right, There's always that same 3rd gen in the backround whenever they're downstairs on the street. It's a burgundy V6 with no GFX. LOL It's should be added to the credits as many times as theyve used it.

In the movie "No man's Land" there is a 82-84 Blue and Silver Camaro in a car chase. It ends up flipping over and exploding though. The movie is basically about stealing Porshe's. Charlie Sheen is in it.

When you think about it Third Gens are popular media cars. No other Gen was every featured in as much media as Thirds, just try and match the other Gens with all these mentions. I've heard more also. There were posts about it on TGO too.
They also won that survey of which Gen Camaro you think of when you hear the word Camaro.
