Bah. My theory went to hell. I just found a guy who apparently had a stock 2.73 posi rear.

If you have a 350 TPI and those are the RPO codes
GW6 = BW 9-bolt 3:27 ratio
G-80= Limited Slip rear

These are common RPO's with the 3:27 ratio being a up grade.
However: You are out of luck with your good deal on the Richmond 3:73 & install Kit-
They will not work for you.
REASON: If your RPO codes are correct, the gears & kit are 10-bolt parts and will not work in a BW 9-bolt rear axle.

Yes, Limited Slip is a Posi (GM name for it). You do understand the differences between Between the 9-bolt (GW6) and a 10-bolt?? So don't be tempted by that price, you can not use them.

The 9-bolt is a better rear anyway...and 3.27 is not a bad ratio. Most of the 9-bolts came with 2.77s (ugh...) You can get 3.45 or 3.70 gears for the 9-bolt but they're gonna cost you, 9-bolt parts are expensive.
