Question New engine

I am replacing my engine in my 92 camaro RS. If I leave the stock computer in, what possibilities of motors could I use without problems. Also, if I were to replace the computer with a 3rd gen z28 computer, would there be a difference?

teh computer is nto much of an issue unless you plan to change what type of injection you are running.
any swap really depends on three things, how much do you have to spend? what kind of power do you want when you are done? and how much work are you willing to do fo rit?
there are a lot fo tbi guys running the gm performance parts 350HO motor in their cars. it is a vortec headed gm crate motor rated at 330hp. it comes with a 3yr/36k warranty.
it sells as a long block, so you will need to buy an intake, TBI adaptor plate, and larger tbi unit. teh computer will also require a custom chip, but if you visit soem of the thirdgen borads you will see that many people already have them figured out, so you can prolly pick that up pretty cheap. a local guy did the swap for about 2500-2600 total with a new water pump and soem othe r little things he needed.
