Post New Rebuild, ECM Problems

HELP... A few days ago I completed my 5.0l rebuild and have it in the car for the break in period. I love the new engine but my ECM does NOT! I have pulled a few codes like "lean exhaust", "faulty ESC module" & "knock sensor". I am also having problems with my Hypertech Termomaster chip & fan switch. It will NOT kick on at 160 but it will kick in at 230. I have the 160 "low temp" fan swict and a 160 thermostat but it still will not do what it is suppose to. Can all this be related? HELP!!!!

Put back the stock chip and see if it does that. What have you changed in the setup and did it work before all this?

I will replace the ECM chip with the stock unit. I was thinking about that as well. Everything worked before the engine rebuild (or at least didn't fire off the SES light every time I drove it). I didn't go crazy with the engine just basic stuff, I did put flat top pistons, GM performance roller cam, double roller timing chain, bored .030 and the crank was turned. Everything else is Edelbrock bolt on stuff, water pump, intake, etc. Now that I thinnk about it I did'nt have the low temp fan switch before the rebuild that was put on while the block was out of the car. All I had before was the Hypertech chip and 160 thermostat. The most frequent code is 43 (I have already replace the knock sensor and checked the ground for the ESC). HELP...

The secondary fan switch (between cylinder 6 & 8) use the same plug as the KS. You absolutely sure you didn't get the two of them crossed? You didn't put teflon tape on the KS threads, did you?

Nope! The fan switch is right under the exhaust manifold and the KS is down towards the bottom of the block. I doubled check this when I installed them by a Chiltons manual. The wires that lead to them are also different lenths I traced the fan switch back through the wire harness to make sure there were no breaks, so I know this was what it went to. I have checked the ground to the ESC as well the only other items listed for a code 43 is replacing the ESC and the ECM. I'll try the factory chip when I get home from work. Any other suggestions please respond...
