Not getting fuel?

I'm beginning to believe my 92 z28 is not getting fuel. I can spray starter fluid into the throttle body and it'll bust off but then acts like it burns the starter fluid and then just starts turning over. I can hear the fuel pump prime up for about 2 seconds when I turn my key on and fuel pressure at the rail seems good. Whats the deal? I also checked power to the injector connectors and it was good.

I would check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve with a gage. Check to see if you have 36/38 psi when you turn the key on without starting the engine. That will tell you if have pressure from the pump.

I've got an adjustable fuel reg. and I do have a guage hooked to it. When I turn the key to on without starting the car it jumps to about 60 pounds and slowley drops down to about 48 to 50.

How slowly? It is supposed to be able to hold the pressure for at least a couple of hours.

When you are cranking, does the pressure drop off or does it come back up?

Hod did you check the injector power?
did you run a test light to the injector wires and check for pusling of the light when you were cranking?

Do you have oil pressure at any time during all of this??

Without oil pressure, there is code written into the ECM's binary that will cut fuel and spark to the motor is there is no oil pressure registered within a given threshold of time. I believe its only for a few seconds.

The fuel pressure holds for a least a couple of hours after it pressures up and I am getting a pulse at the injectors while attempting to crank and I am showing oil pressure while I'm trying to crank the car.

That is false. The oil pressure switch is a backup for the Fuel Pump Relay. If relay goes bad, oil pressure switch will activate the fuel pump when 6psi of oil pressure is detected.
