My ported L98 cast iron heads flow 248intake@.480"lift and 181exhaust@.500" and that is on the EGR passage cylinder (Better than Vortechs) They can flow. I will tell you how it runs in about a week.

Exactly what I mean. Could $2350 be better spent? That price and he can't even "paper roll" the ports. If anything that would be the cheapest AND simplest procedure to include in a worked head.

An AFR 180 or 190 would be a lot more worthwhile, all while still being emmisions legal...

My valve guides on the passenger side had premature wear which was evident once the springs were off and the valves were rattling around. That caused the pushrod to wear out the guideplates and had some effect on the spring when the valves wobbled around.

Dunno, when they do CNC work to match each runner, it gets spendy. Of course the hardwear on the heads are not cheap either.
