Seat Question

I just bought a '91 Firebird, and the seats are pretty nasty. Will the seats out of a '93 Camaro fit in it? A local guy has a set for sale for $140. Thanks for the help. I'll have some other questions about the '91 later. The speedo is inop and it has a lazy right eye.

yes, the front and rear seats will interchange from 82-02, the 93+ seats may sit a little higher in a third gen using the 4th gen seat tracks, but a quick fix for that is swaping the tracks, all is a direct swap

All 3rd and 4th gen Camaro & Firebird manual seats will bolt right
into your original seat tracks. No need to remove them just unbolt the seats not the tracks.

thats what i said, but, 4th gen tracks are slightly taller then the third gen ones, and, for a tall driver, we need all the room we can get

And even better if your driver seat is shot but the passenger one is nice like mine. I made a nice bracket to mount the seat, rails to an office chair base. Best computer chair ever!

Y'all mentioned "manual seats". The driver's seat is power. I will probably put the power seat in my '97 Z28, and put my Z's seat in the FB. Will I run into any problems (besides having to run power to it) if I decide to put the power seat in the FB.

Once again, thanks for the for the help. I'm feeling a little less ignorant every day!

Still no problem with using any seats, just with the power ones you do need to leave on power track and wire a power source.
