Well if that's wot leave it be that's perfect.This allows you to manualy hold and shift at a higher rpm when racing.No higher than 5500 for a stock Tpi.Try and keep it between 5000-5500 as a shift point.Go out and feel where the power stops pulling and go back 100-200rpms andt there's your shift point.

Is this just at WOT, or is it all the time? If its all the time, it sounds like the Throttle Valve is sticking in the valvebody. VERY common problem w/ the 700s. Sometimes you can yank on the cable a few times w/ the car not running and it will free up. TransGo has developed and patented a fix for this condition, thats why all of my rebuilds get the TransGo reprogramming kit.
