squealing belts

i just snipped off my a/c belt on friday for hp gains because i wasnt running the a/c and have no plans to and after that i changed my tps sensor and stripped out the bottom bolt so i tighted it down with the top bolt and it feel pretty sturdy. then i took the car for a hundred mile trip down to the nj shore when i got there i shut off my car and got a soda when i came back the belt starting squealing for like 5 seconds then stopped. couple of questions if my water pump was leaking it would make my belt squeal and i would see liquid on the ground correct. and could my tps install or snipping of the ac belt have anything to do with this squeal im not overheating and my voltage does get low at night with my lights on other wise its about 13.8 any ideas
