Stroked 305

Stroked 305
What all will I need if I stroke my 305? What are the parts & specifications I will have to have? Also, how much will it cost to get all of this done? And what kind of horsepower will I be looking at after it's complete?

It is really worth it? Can the 335 with it's small bore even compete with a 350? I know a friend of mine ran his stock '89 Formula against a '90 Camaro w/ a 305 w/ larger cam and head work. He killed that 305.
Not trying to flame, just curious. If so, great. 305 engines are easy to come by.

the 305 is low compression . Put on two t3 turbos used and rebuilt. Have someone weld on flanges to your stock manifolds after you swaped sides and fliped them. do al teh other things you need for turbos like oil, fuel and intake lines. Set the boost around 8 lbs and you will have much more power than any stroked 305 and more power and ceaper than swaping for a rebuilt 350.

305 cubes
150 shot of nitrous oxide
decent aftermarket dart 305 heads
bigger cam, added duration
higher reving intake and carb
1-3/4" headers + True duals
TH350 trans
3500rpm torque converter
Weight reduction here and there (Tubular front end), Hood, seats
ET Streets and Skinny's
Lightweight rims
Drag shocks and springs
More suspension mods
This guy has made his 305 combo extremely efficient and fun for damn sure but imagine is he had 45 or more cubic inches, larger valve heads and a bigger bore to work with. Ooooo now that's fun I'm chasing this guys times with my own little 305 so wish me luck! It MIGHT be cheaper to do a 350 but even if it cost a slight margin more it's well worth the gains. Goodluck out there everyone!
