No i have a t top car with a 350 and i do not have sub frame connectors. But i would consider it because it will be more rigid and all those anoying squeeks will be gone.
i am getting sub frame connectors for my car

They are almost a necessity on thirdgens IMO. Our cars have relatively weak frames. The chasis flexes alot. especially if you ahve T-tops. if you aer making any kind of power they should be gotten. They will greatly increase your handling as well.

When you drive around on these michigan roads My T-Tops used to squeak now that I have www.spohn.net Subframe connectors my car handles better and the t-tops don't squeak like they used to. I got the spohn ones because you can't see them from the side and they don't reduce ground clearance.. Get them they are a great addition to your car.., And should almost be seen as a necessity..

Depends on who you know and where ya go. I have a friend who took welding in High School Vocational classes, He took first in the state in 98, and second in nationals for mig welding. I bought spohns subframe connectors. Put my car up on some blocks way off the garage floor found where they needed to go. Took a die grinder to the floor spots where I wanted him to weld ( which was along the whole thing, not just in spots, the whole length of the SFC) Then I went to Home Depot and rented a lincoln welder asked my friend to come over and I would compensate him for his time. It all took about 2-3 hours. After it was done I used weld primer and primered the whole thing. (don't forget to use a wire brush before painting to remove the slag and other stuff) I am leaving it the way it is for now, I will be removing the rear again and brushing it off and using Por-15 on it and removing the fuel tank and spraying underbody coat on the whole undercarraige. Just want the car to look better than it did when it rolled off the assembly line. The extra effort looks really nice and sets your car apart from the rest of them.. Get a beater for the winter, Plz don't drive it in the salt and snow, your car will dissolve quickly..

They are not taking orders anymore till they get their act together. On the other hand, I went down to Alston and will be having them weld their bolt on model in. They have a unit that bolts in or is weld in. The weld in required a lot of cutting but the bolt in just bolts in. After that, they will weld it in.
