Sweet, glad to know that there's been no other "freaky" incidents to cause it to go down... (I'm still shaken from last time, what, 4 years ago)?

192.168.0.1 is an internal LAN number. It's not part of the internet. Same as 10.0.0.0 numbers.

Thirdgen.org is having a domain server problem. The main page is still up at http://128.196.116.28 however just about everything else including the forums is not accessable.

I guess you saw my pre-edited post, huh? Yeah, that's why I put 192.168.0.1, couldn't come up with a fake number to use.

Looks like www.thirdgen.org is an alias for dns.thirdgen.org, so both should point to the same box. Aw hell time to go to bed. This is the wrong website to be posting this in, anyway. Thanks to CZ28.com for letting me sleep easy tonight! I wonder though if this is one of those cross-country deals; which is why Stekman can still get in (his DNS servers haven't picked up on the "loss" yet) but others of us can't.

Oh, duh, forgot about the trailing slash- http://128.196.116.28/techbb2/ - we need the slash after "techbb2". Now I'm definately going to bed.

ThirdGen.Org DNS propogation issues have been solved, and dns.thirdgen.org no longer exists. We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
