torque arm bushing

i bought a bmr torque arm and it came with a poly bushing,

now, i pulled my motor and tranny out, and my rear end out, (for other reasons not just to change the torque arm)

and i'm not sure how to get the rubber bushing off the bracket, i unbolted the bracket so now half the rubber bushing is in my hand and the other half still attached to the tranny, i see the rubber bushing has two little nibs that go through the bracket and dont like to budge

any advice?

Re: torque arm bushing

Those are rivets. You got two rivets on the piece in your hand and two rivets on the piece bolted to the trans. Take an air hammer with a chisel or just a chisel if that tool isn't available and just knock em off. Put the new one in, you don't need rivets.
