TPS adjustment question
From what I read, when you jump the wires of the TPS and read the voltage, you are supposed to check between the top and middle wires. When I did this, the voltage was 5 volts. However when I read between middle and bottom wires I get a reading of .14 volts. In the first case, I'm obviously reading the power wire, and in the second case the voltage is way off what it should be( .54 - .56) Am I doing this right or am I just cracked out? If I'm not reading it correctly, what should I do? Also, the alligator clamps I'm using to jump the wires are really not getting the job done as well as I'd like. What would you guys suggest instead?

Re: TPS adjustment question
Take your voltmeter with the standard leads. Put the red lead to the middle wire (just probe into it) and the black lead to any good ground. At idle you should be around .54-.56 volts and at WOT you should be at 4.5 volts or more.
