Question Trans-Go install time?

How long should it take me? I have basic mechanical knowlege but I've never seen inside an auto. Any hints about things to look for are most apreciated. Thanks!

Take it to a shop. Trust me, unless you work on trannys quite often, you will be in over your head. I have personal expierience in this matter.

If you have never seen the inside of an auto then I would take it to a shop. I had a friend that has done a few before do mine. When I saw what he got into I am glad I decided not to tackle this one on my own.

Yes I'd take it to a moderately well known shop for install. Mine will be installed very soon in my stock trans just so it holds a little longer

This 150 shot is brutal on the shifts Firmness should give me peace of mind hopefully.

I have done a 4l60E myself and it took two nights after work to get done. I have never been inside an auto before I did it. The Trans-Go kit is very simple and I found it to be no problem at all. I recommended it to a friend who had it done in about 6 hours on a 1996 Impala SS. He also said it was fairly easy considering the change. Good luck.
