Just doing the math the 2.5" duals with 9.82 sq. in. have only .2sq in more area inside the pipe than 3.5" single with 9.62 sq. in. not to mention the hassle of the install. you can install 3" duals but not without removing or radically modifying the upper panhard brace which would possibly affect the structural integrity of the car. A 4' system comes very close at 12.6 sq. in to a dual 3" with 14.1 simpler still than the dual 3" and with cats a lot less expensive than $1,300.

Putting 18k$ on my car right now, don't really care if it cost 1300$ or more i want true Dual, already talked at my shop and says it can do it to me no problem.... I want true dual for the sound....
