Trunk no open

hey remember me? i had the same problem
ok to fix it your going to have to squeese back into your hatch
if you have the cargo cover just push the ends toward the center it will spring and you can remove it. now hopefully you dont have the cargo lid covering the trunk, making it easier to remove the rear interior panel. remove the trunk light, it just pops off. try to pry the panel back from the middle, maybe even get a friend to hold it pryed back. now get a socket (i think 8mm) and remove all the bolts holding the latch and lock assembly to the rear of the trunk.
the motor that pops the trunk is probably dead. buy a new trunk key cylinder from a part store. they are like 20-30$ canadian.
the pop motor is easy to replace. get a tested used one from a scrap yard or car dismantler
