Pulleys make a difference. The new GMHTP mag has project 'Blue Thunder' - a 305 TPI Formula - which made 17HP/13 ft/lbs. torque at the rear wheels, with the JET power pulleys. Thats a serious gain in power for a simple bolt-on part, esp for a 305.

It is a 2-piece set; crank and alternator pulleys. PN# 90107

yeah, i saw that article too, thats what made me look into a set of them.
