Update on the new motor!!!
Well I get home from Cruisn the Coast in Mississippi and decide it is time to put the get down on it. I hammer it and the next morning I have a scrambled tranny Oh well.....I needed to back that motor with a bullet proof 700r4 anyways . I did get to feel the upper RPM difference...PULLS LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE!!!!!! My new torque converter should give me my low end torque back (lost it with the bigger cam) and I will be set.

Man I was surprised at my old 700-R4.....when I blew the 305 up and built the 355 it actually lasted another 4 months! Had 160,000 miles on it before it died for good........then of course when it went I used that as an excuse to get the 6-speed

OH HELL YEA!!!!!! The torque and the high end HP!!! I am in heaven. Got the car back and the tranny shifts like a jew and the car runs great.....Although the first car I ran today was a "slightly" modified LS1...Results are in the kill section...I have had a great month. Thanks all
