Walbro Fuel Pressure Regulator
#5
You do realize that the ECM will compensate and shorten the pulse width unless it goes beyond what it can compensate for. You might get better atomization of the fuel if that. A better way would be to alter the pulse width by getting the EPROM reprogrammed. Have you done intakes yet? The fuel won't help if you don't have air to burn it.

yea i know, but i want to do everything before i get the chip programmed, because I only have one extra set of plenum gaskets, so I don't want to change everything near the plenum one at a time because I won't have enough gaskets, thats why I want to put the adjustable fuel regulator in while i put in the 24 injectors and port the plenum and get siamese runners.

You could install the 24 pph injectors and get a new FPR. I got the hypertech one because I needed a new one and that was one that someone had in a box that someone else ordered and didn't pick up. I got that cheaper than the stock one so I used that. It had a disc the size of a quarter and a screw on top that was screwed in to increas the tension.
Who is doing your EPROM? When I had www.fasterproms.com do it, they just set it based on stock pressure. They burnt the chip based on my mods. After that, we took readings and reburnt it. Then they did one more set of readings and did a final burn so that it is on the money. That is why I don't think that will make a difference.
