Were exactly does the TPI sticker go on the back bummper?
The reson im asking cause I just got mine back from the body shop. Someone ran into the back and i had to get the bummper repainted. They stuck the tuned port injection sticker all the way to the left. I though there was supose to be a 3+ inch space. Like on the right side were the emblem is. It's going back cause it's not right. There are still spider webs in the bummper which they charged me more to to get rid of.
Pictures of orginal cars that have not been painted would be great thanks. If you know for sure that it's in thge right spot that will be ok also.

I replaced my Tuned Port Injection emblem with a 5.7 Tuned Port Injection emblem when I did my motor swap.
It goes on the indentation that goes all the wasy across the rear bumper cover, about 1 inch in from where the indention starts.
Thats where the originally one was.

here's a pic of a 100% stock 3,000 mile 86 IROC:

The pic is hard to see, but I believe that IROCVETTE is correct in saying it's around 1" from the left within the recess.

Thats were it was when I put it on the first time. The bodyshop replaced it when they painted the bummper and put it all the way to the left. Just wanted to make sure I was right before I went to war.

Don't feel bad. I put mine all the way to the left too... and I used plastic emblem adhesive so there's no way for me to get it off without seriously marking up the paint.
