Post What do I need to do to lower the front end of my car about 1/2"?

Ever since I've removed a bunch of weight off of the front end (no emissions, no smog pump, I removed a few other things too), the front seems to sit a little high. Can I adjust some suspension parts to lower it just a little (1/2" to maybe 1") or do I pretty much have to buy some new springs and other parts? By the way, I just hit 150K miles in my car today and the front shocks are pretty bad.

Only a few ways to do it.
1. buy a new set of spings
2. cut a coil out of your old ones
3. buy a different spindle that will lower it

I dont know were to find a spendle though the best option is the first one.

Actually you're better off cutting 1/3 - 1/2 coil off your original springs. Why? It's free! It's a PITA getting the springs back in though! A full coil will drop it too much. I cut off 1/2 coil from my front springs and it dropped almost an inch.
