well you keep asking "where do i get one" and while i dont know what your budget is like you could always just buy a new one. You could either buy a t-56 that would bolt up straight for tremec or you could go through D&D performance, dont know much about them but they take brand new t-56's that were intended for vipers and modify them to fit a third gen. They also have a little bit higher power rating due to the vipers having just over 500 hp and they go for around 2200 i believe
EDIT : http://www.ddperformance.com/GM%20T56.htm there ya go that takes you right to the page you need, the viper tranny goes for 24XX dollars and uses a mechanical speedo so you wouldnt need to buy the box to convert the manual to electric speedo

2400 bucks is pretty cheap considering that the junk yards ive been searching dont have a complete T-56 for less than 16 hundred, and that's with HIGH miles and no mods to fit into a third gen.
this is all amazing information. im gonna go check out that site now for the viper tranny. that's an amazing price... I just have to find a way to get that money.
do you know if the tranny comes with a clutch and pressure plate and hydrolic system??

i doubt it but you should be able to get all the hydraulics off a 4th gen and still have it work, actually thats just a guess i have no idea if thatd work. lol someone else will chime in but i think that price is just for the tranny
but you do save 300 bucks on not having to buy the box that deals with the electric speedo issue
