Where in Western MA? I work in Pittsfield.

BTW, if you decided that you wanted a GTA instead of a Camaro, I've got a TPI 5-speed GTA that I'm selling. Email me or IM me if you're interrested. My IM is Jim85IROC.

Here's some pics of the exterior. You have to copy & paste them into your browser:

The color is Crystal White. It's from a 2000 or 2001 Lexus. I'm in the process of installing Flo Fit seats and new carpet. Since this isn't the for-sale forum, I don't want to spend too much time discussing it here, so feel free to email me at jim85iroc@yahoo.com or IM me at Jim85IROC.

im not going to bother finding the quote but someone said that a 305 is very close to a 350....i disagree completly...while it is true that there are 305s out there that could smoke just about any 350 the basic fact is more cubic inches means more power and the same mods will make the 350 go faster. Id get the auto and get a good shift kit and new shifter

well, no matter what anybody says, there's always somebody that doesn't believe. The fact is, there was only a 10hp difference in 88 between the LB9 with the 5 speed and the L98. All of the L98 cars had 3.27 gears. A lot of the 5-speed cars had 3.45 gears. The 3.45 gears and the somewhat higher effeciency & lower weight of the 5-speed transmission is enough to easily overcome a 10hp defecit. The reason that the 5 speed cars aren't faster is that dispite the mechanical advantage of the 5 speed cars, the L98 still had enough torque to stay a tick or two ahead of the 5 speeds.

I could pull out scores of magazine test numbers and real 1/4 mile times from car owners, but even that isn't enough to satisfy a critic, so I'm not going to spend the time digging it all up.
